We took the midnight flight from Singapore Airport and landed Brisbane Airport early in the morning. The weather was so cooling but still sunny.
We drove to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, the world's first and largest koala sanctuary, with over 130 koalas.
I managed to touch a koala and was so excited about it. And for the next few hours, I kept saying "Koala...koala...".
We reached the Cedar Glen Farmstay after almost 2 hours of driving. We thought we lost the place but actually it was located in a seclude area where we took 30 - 40 mins to drive to the nearest town.
We love the peaceful moments and enjoyed the meals when we stayed for 2 nights. We fed the sheep, cows, chickens, pigs and they were so friendly that I could even ride on the sheep.
We moved on to Gold Coast for another 5 nights and enjoyed the breezy weather along Surfers Paradise beach. I enjoyed playing with the sand, the water and couldn't bear to leave when my daddy dragged me off.
Even when I was bathing in the bath tub, I would stay as long as possible! And I would wash my own hair a few times....
Welcome to the DreamWorld. We managed to take a few kiddy rides like the Rainforest Rampage, Blues Skidoos, Mighty-Go-Round, Dorothy's Rosy Tea Cup Rid, and Big Red Car Ride.
After 5 hours of playing, I fell asleep for almost 2 hours while my mummy took her chance to visit the souvenir shops and took pictures with the Nickelodeon cartoon characters - SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star.
Besides visiting the Koala Sanctuary, we also went to Currumbin Wildlife Santuary. We could feed the kangaroos freely and they would come to you once there's food.
My daddy poured the food onto my little hands and the kangaroo would lick off all the food. It felt ticklish but I didn't care much.
There was this kangaroo almost gave me a kiss on my rosy cheek. Hahaha ;)
Overall, we enjoyed the trip so much that we wished we could stay longer. Hope to be back again! G'Day Mate!
